Clashes Erupt in Brooklyn as Anti-Israel Protest Turns Violent

0

Violent clashes broke out in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday as anti-Israel protesters confronted members of an Orthodox Jewish community, leading to chaos and at least one arrest, according to reports.

Fox News reported that demonstrators, organized by the activist group Pal-Awda, gathered in Borough Park to protest what they described as the sale of “stolen Palestinian land.” The protest escalated into physical altercations, with agitators chanting, “Zionists go to hell,” waving Palestinian flags, and directing profanities at Jewish pedestrians.

According to the New York Post, police intervened as several skirmishes erupted, and footage from the scene showed a large knife on the ground while an individual was detained. It remains unclear if the weapon was used in the clashes.

The demonstrators also chanted slogans, including “How many kids did you kill today?” to the beat of a snare drum. Meanwhile, Orthodox Jewish children watched the chaotic scene unfold from their school buses.

Authorities confirmed one arrest, but further details about potential charges or injuries have not yet been released.
