Waste-to-energy: Lagos to shut down Olusosun dumpsite, others for 18 months Fire at Olusosun dumpsite again

The Lagos State Lagos State Waste Management Authority, LAWMA, has concluded plans to permanently shut down the Olusosun, Ojota and Solous, Igando landfills and transform them into renewable energy stations.

The move, it was learnt is part of measures to effectively utilize high solid waste generated in the state.
