UNILAG: Visitation Panel concludes investigation, submits findings Thursday

Director of Press and Public Relations, Ben Bem Goong, from the Federal Ministry of Education sent out a media invitation stating that the Special Visitation Panel set up by the Federal Government to look into the management crisis at the University of Lagos has concluded its investigation.

Ben Bem Goong said the panel will submit the report of its findings to the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu on Thursday, September 17 2020.

It would be recalled that due to the crisis rocking UNILAG, following the earlier removal of its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, by its governing council, the Federal Government set up the panel for investigations.

Adamu, who had inaugurated the panel headed by Prof. Tukur Sa’ad, however, warned members against interference with the activities of UNILAG management.

He urged stakeholders in the University of Lagos to fully cooperate with the panel and to allow it to work unhindered.
