Trump Appoints New U.S. Ambassadors to Kuwait, Lebanon, and Morocco

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the appointment of several new ambassadors to represent the United States in key international positions. The announcement was made via his Truth Social account on Friday.

Trump named Amer Ghalib as the U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait, highlighting his background in medicine and community service. Michel Issa was appointed as the U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, with Trump praising his expertise in banking, entrepreneurship, and international trade. Duke Buchan III will serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Morocco, a role Trump said would strengthen ties between the two nations.

Additionally, Lynda Blanchard was appointed as the U.S. Ambassador to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Rome, Italy. Blanchard previously served as U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia during Trump’s first term.

Trump expressed confidence in each appointee, stating that their leadership and expertise would serve the country well in their respective roles.
