President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Landing at exactly 3:23 pm at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, the President was warmly received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and members of the state cabinet.
Earlier in the day, Tinubu presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill, amounting to N47.9 trillion, to a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja for consideration and passage.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s visit marks the beginning of his seasonal retreat in his home state.
