Lagos, Nigeria — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians of significant economic growth and prosperity in 2025, reaffirming his commitment to addressing the nation’s challenges and delivering transformative leadership.

Speaking during his first Presidential Media Chat with journalists on Monday, December 23, at Ikoyi, Lagos, the President expressed gratitude to Nigerians for entrusting him with the responsibility to lead the country.

“2025 is a very promising year,” President Tinubu stated. “Let me thank Nigerians for having confidence in me to be the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I’m very proud of that. I don’t want you to think that I will take it for granted at any given time. It is all about service. I will do it with all my heart. I seek your cooperation all the time.”

Acknowledging the economic hardships faced by Nigerians, the President called for collective resolve and understanding as his administration works to steer the nation toward a brighter future.

“I seek your understanding,” he said. “I understand the trouble you’ve been through — the economic problems. It is just 18 months since I’ve taken the reins. We’ll maintain focus. Let’s believe in ourselves and in our country. Tomorrow will bring a glorious dawn.”

The media chat, which marked a significant milestone in Tinubu’s presidency, provided an opportunity for him to outline his vision for the coming year while reiterating his dedication to improving the lives of all Nigerians.
