The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has paid a Sallah homage to President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State.
Buhari had left Abuja for his country home in Daura on Friday evening amid tight security, where he joined many Muslim faithful for the Eid prayers on Saturday morning.
Tinubu used the opportunity of his visit to inform the President of his choice of ex-Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

He also addressed journalists in Daura about his decision to select Shettima as the APC vice-presidential candidate.
Shettima, a two-term governor of the north-eastern state, represents Borno Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
Before now, there were speculations that Tinubu had narrowed his possible running mates between Shettima and incumbent Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum.
