“Tinubu Is Winning” — Bashir Ahmad Reacts to Soludo’s Pro-Tinubu Cap at Aso Rock Visit

Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad has hailed Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo’s recent visit to President Bola Tinubu, describing it as a sign of the president’s growing political influence.

Soludo, who belongs to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), met with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday. During the visit, the governor wore a face cap emblazoned with Tinubu’s insignia and the inscription: “Progressives Working Together.”

Tinubu is a leading figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), making the display of solidarity from an opposition party governor particularly notable.

Reacting to the visit in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ahmad, a former aide to late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, wrote:

“Gov. Soludo of Anambra State wore a p-cap with President Tinubu’s insignia during his visit to Aso Rock today. The cap also carried a bold message reading ‘Progressives Working Together.’ This is a clear sign that the President is winning even inside their inner circle.”

The gesture has sparked political conversations, with some seeing it as a symbolic alignment across party lines.
