Tinubu Approves New Welfare Terms for Nigerian Armed Forces

President Bola Tinubu, yesterday, chaired the National Defense Council meeting, where he approved a new set of harmonized terms and conditions of service (HTACOS) for officers and enlisted personnel in the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The approval, announced by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, marks a significant move toward improving the welfare of military personnel nationwide. The revised HTACOS seeks to address long-standing issues regarding service conditions, offering a streamlined policy for both officers and enlisted ranks.

By adopting these new terms, the Tinubu administration aims to enhance the morale and operational readiness of Nigeria’s defense forces, reinforcing their crucial role in safeguarding national security.
