Tinubu Appoints Chairpersons, CEOs for 42 Federal Agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointments of board chairpersons and chief executive officers for 42 federal organizations, as well as a secretary to the board of the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. The appointments, which take immediate effect, include leadership for critical federal agencies and organizations across various sectors.

According to the statement, President Tinubu also appointed a new Managing Director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation and a Director-General for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI).

The president directed all appointed board chairpersons to focus on their non-executive roles and avoid interfering in the day-to-day management of the organizations.
