Shaibu-Relocates-Office-Despite-Suit-Withdrawal-Against-Governor-Obaseki

Philip Shaibu, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, has commenced the process of relocating his office from the neighborhood of Government House.

This judgment followed the withdrawal of Shaibu’s case, which he brought in the Federal High Court last week to prevent Governor Godwin Obaseki from being involved in an alleged scheme to depose him.

The new office is located on Dennis Osadebey Avenue, near the Government House.

The Head of Service addressed a letter to the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor, asking her to supervise the transfer of civil personnel and files to the new office.

It was also discovered that the new office is uninhabitable due to the lack of electricity, the fact that it is wet, and the fact that the office spaces are relatively undersized.

The state administration, on the other hand, insisted that the deputy governor’s new office be located within the boundaries of the administration House.
