Senator Sharafadeen Alli Mourns Death of Governor Makinde’s Eldest Brother

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sunday Makinde, the eldest brother of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, Senator Alli described the loss of a sibling as profoundly painful. He noted that Sunday Makinde, who passed away in the early hours of Friday, was a humble and accomplished individual who made significant contributions to his family and society.

Senator Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), praised the late Sunday Makinde’s legacy of hard work and dedication to humanity.

“I extend my deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, his family, and everyone mourning Engr. Sunday Makinde. May the Almighty grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant the departed eternal rest,” he stated.

The death of Sunday Makinde has been met with an outpouring of grief from family, friends, and well-wishers, as tributes continue to pour in for the late patriarch.
