According to the statement, the summons is part of an official inquiry into decisions taken under the Fubara-led administration over the past two years, with a focus on appointments and recruitment processes.
“Sir Fubara is directed to present all relevant documents and records pertaining to appointments, including justifications and procedures followed during his tenure,” the statement read.
The session is also expected to provide the suspended governor with an opportunity to explain why he believes he should be reinstated to office.
Details of the scheduled appearance are as follows:
Date: Friday, 18th April, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. prompt
