Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas, Sole Administrator of Rivers State, was among top government officials in attendance at the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting held on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Also present was Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, making his first NEC appearance since his recent defection.
The gathering brought together several state governors, including Benue State’s Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, Kwara’s Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, Edo’s Monday Okpebholo, and Cross River’s Bassey Otu, among others. A significant number of Deputy Governors were also in attendance.
