President Tinubu Appoints Brig. Gen. Kunle Nafiu as New NYSC Director-General

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Brigadier General Kunle Nafiu as the new Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Until his appointment, Brig. Gen. Nafiu served as the Chief of Staff to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Olufemi Oluyede, and previously held the same role under the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Raised Abiodun Lagbaja.

A distinguished officer from the 47 Regular Course, Nafiu is an Artillery Officer with training from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College and the U.S. Army War College. He has also served as a Directing Staff at the Army War College, Nigeria.

Hailing from Ileogbo in Aiyedire Local Government Area of Osun State, Brig. Gen. Nafiu steps into his new role with immediate effect, replacing Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed.
