Police move notorious fulani warlord, Wakili to hospital

The Oyo State Police Command moved notorious Fulani warlord, Iskilu Wakili to the hospital.

A statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Fadeyi Olugbenga said Wakili who was arrested by members of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, on Sunday was moved to the hospital for medical attention.

The OPC members invaded Kajola community in the Ibarapa North Local government Area of the State to arrest Wakili, who was alleged to be the sponsor and mastermind of various criminal attacks against the people/farmers of Yoruba origin in the community.

Wakili, a 75-year old blind warlord was arrested by the OPC members alongside two other persons.

Olugbenga said the State Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko had directed that Wakili due to his frail appearance and state of health be moved to the Hospital, while others are being interrogated.
