The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, attended a special prayer meeting in preparation for the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump. During the event, Pastor Kumuyi prayed for divine guidance and wisdom for the incoming president as he prepares to assume office.

In his prayer, Kumuyi expressed gratitude to God and acknowledged the importance of the church in America. He emphasized the enduring power of the church, quoting Jesus’ promise that “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Pastor Kumuyi prayed, “Lord, grant him wisdom and grant the church the unity, the knowledge, and forthrightness to speak the truth to power.” He further prayed for a harmonious relationship between President Trump and the church, urging that it would be one that strengthens both the leader and the faith community.

He concluded by seeking God’s blessing on the nation, saying, “Confirm it, O Lord, and answer the prayer of your people for this nation, America. In Jesus’ name, we pray.”

The prayer meeting marked a solemn occasion, with participants focused on unity, spiritual leadership, and guidance for the new administration.
