Oyalowo Assumes Duty at OORBDA, Calls for Synergy to Drive Excellence

The newly appointed Executive Director of Finance and Administration at the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA), Ayobami Oyalowo, has emphasized the importance of synergy across all levels of the Authority in achieving outstanding results.

Oyalowo made this known on Wednesday during his official assumption of duty at the Authority’s headquarters. He highlighted that fostering open communication, teamwork, and a conducive work environment would enhance productivity and innovation across departments.

While expressing gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Joseph Utsev, for the opportunity to serve, Oyalowo pledged his commitment to collaborative leadership.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for entrusting me with this critical responsibility,” he said. “I also commend the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Joseph Utsev, for providing outstanding leadership in our parent ministry.”

Oyalowo assured the Authority’s Board, management, and staff of a harmonious working relationship, stressing that collective efforts are vital to the Authority’s success.

“I strongly believe that synergy among all levels of the Authority will yield outstanding results in achieving our shared goals. I solicit the cooperation and support of all staff, stakeholders, and partners in achieving our collective aspirations,” he added.

He expressed confidence that with dedication, collaboration, and adherence to best financial and administrative practices, the OORBDA would record unprecedented success.

In his welcome address, the Managing Director of OORBDA, Gbenga Ashiru, assured Oyalowo of a cordial and productive working relationship, pledging the full support of the management team.

Oyalowo’s assumption of office marks a new chapter in the Authority’s drive toward improved service delivery and sustainable development in the Ogun-Osun River Basin.
