The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has come under fire from its fellow citizens for classifying the phrase “no gree for anybody” as harmful. At a press event on Wednesday, the Force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi asserted that the slogan could spark a nationwide revolution.
“Let me say it again the new slogan for 2024, “no dey gree for anybody.” Intelligence has informed us that this slogan is coming from a revolutionary sector that may likely cause problems across the country.
“No dey gree for anybody is being seen as a normal talk but in the security community we have seen it as a very dangerous slogan that can trigger a crisis,” he said.
Reacting, an X user, @chinasam_anukam wrote that Nigerian police did a press conference based on “no gree for anybody” ??? Bruh. What has anybody ever done in any lifetime to deserve Nigerian citizenship?

@philus_JT: The Police under a capitalist system are there to keep LAW and order, not for JUSTICE. So when young people say “no gree for anybody (oppressor)”, the police see it as a threat ’cause they have to keep it ORDERLY for the oppression to continue. Oga police we no gree for anybody.

This is the height of unprofessionalism, I mean was it no gree for anybody that murdered over 200 people on Christmas Eve? Or has it been the reason for the incessant kidnapping and murdering of citizens by Fulani terrorists? Throw the whole police force away.
