Nigeria Customs Intercepts Massive Cache of Smuggled Arms and Ammunition

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has intercepted a significant cache of arms and ammunition smuggled into the country, raising serious security concerns.

While the exact value of the seized weapons is yet to be disclosed, the interception underscores the agency’s intensified efforts to curb illegal arms trafficking across Nigeria’s borders.

The Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, has arrived in Lagos and is expected to address journalists at the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone “A” in Ikeja, Lagos, providing further details on the seizure.
