The Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government in Kano State, Yusuf Imam, popularly known as Ogan Boye, has appointed 60 aides to serve in various key capacities within his administration. The appointments, which include roles such as personal aides, special assistants, directors-general, and special reporters, were made public through a letter dated January 6, 2024, and signed by the Local Government Secretary, Hon. Ado Muhd Hotoro.
According to the letter, the appointments were based on merit, dedication, honesty, and commitment, aiming to improve the operations of the local government and enhance the delivery of services to the people. The letter emphasized that the appointees were selected with the objective of promoting and developing the Nassarawa Local Government area.
Among the notable appointees is Jamilu D. Attahir, appointed as Principal Personnel Secretary (P.P.S.), and Rabilu Muhd Gama, who will serve as Personal Assistant on Documentation. Kabiru Ishak Hannafi has been named Personal Assistant on Domestic Affairs, while Hassan Shehu Adamu will take on the role of Special Assistant for Media. Other significant appointments include Auwal Abdullahi as Chief Protocol and Halima Abubakar as Women Leader.
The Chairman expressed his confidence in the abilities of the appointees and urged them to execute their duties with dedication and commitment, reinforcing the administration’s goal to promote efficiency and better service delivery for the people of Nassarawa.
