LAGOS, Nigeria – Tech giant Microsoft has announced a $1 million (approximately ₦1.6 billion) investment in Nigeria’s digital economy over the next two years, aiming to equip one million Nigerians with Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills.
The announcement was made in Lagos by Ola Williams, Microsoft’s Country Manager for Nigeria and Ghana, highlighting the company’s commitment to fostering digital transformation and AI adoption in the region.
