Outstanding Nigerian learners from ALX, Africa’s leading tech career accelerator, have been awarded the prestigious Mastercard Foundation scholarships to pursue advanced studies at the African Leadership College of Higher Education (ALCHE).
The beneficiaries are among 21 exceptional learners from the ALX Pathway program who secured the highly competitive scholarships, reinforcing Nigeria’s growing reputation as a hub for high-potential tech talent.
The Mastercard Foundation scholarship covers full tuition and stipends, enabling recipients to gain world-class education while honing leadership, technical, and entrepreneurial skills. The goal is to equip young Africans with the expertise needed to drive innovation and economic transformation across the continent.
Among the Nigerian scholars are Ayomide Samson Ajayi, Effiong Immaculata Emmanuel, Hanif Olayiwola, Chigozie Emmanuel Ndubuaku, Peace Chidinma Chukwuka, Chibuzor Moses Uzowuru, and Chisom Obueze Louisa.
Speaking on the achievement, Oluwapelumi Thomas, Learning Community Experience Specialist at ALX Nigeria, described the milestone as a testament to the impact of ALX’s mission in developing Africa’s future leaders.
