LG Poll: Kogi Commissioner for Information votes

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has just voted at his Unit 04, Takete Ide/Otafun Ward 07 of Mopamuro Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking shortly after casting his vote, Mr Fanwo hailed the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission for timely delivery of election materials, expressing confidence in the commission to deliver a free, fair and credible poll.

“What I have seen here is commendable. Election materials arrived at all the Polling Units in my Ward before 8am and voting is going on smoothly. KOSIEC has delivered on its promise.

“The enthusiasm of the voters is understandable. This is the closest Government to them and they are excited at the opportunity to elect their Chairman and Councillor.

“The reports I am getting across the State is great as election is going on smoothly everywhere without hitches. I also commend the KOSIEC Officials, security agencies and the electorate for ensuring peaceful poll.

“Our Governor is proud of the conduct of the key stakeholders in this election for their transparency and peaceful conduct”.

A voter in the unit, Mr Ebenezer Olorunleke also said the election organization was top notch.

“KOSIEC has done well. Everything here is smooth and I have voted for my candidate”, he said.
