Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently disclosed his past crush on Love Oyedepo, daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church. This revelation came during a 47-minute podcast episode titled “Confession Box,” hosted by Leke Adeboye and released on YouTube on Friday.
In a candid conversation with his guest, Isaac Oyedepo—Love’s brother and Bishop Oyedepo’s son—Leke shared a personal anecdote. “I used to have a crush on your sister, Love, but she was crushing on my brother,” he admitted.
During the podcast, Leke also recounted the unconventional way he proposed to his wife, Titilope Rachel Adeboye. Adhering to RCCG’s traditions, he proposed without a ring, instead reading a scroll with promises that she would never regret marrying him. The couple married in 2011 and have four children.
Leke Adeboye, the youngest child of Enoch and Folu Adeboye, serves as an assistant pastor at RCCG and is also the senior personal assistant to his father. Love Oyedepo is now married to Pastor Stephen Ogah, an associate pastor at Faith Tabernacle Canaanland, Living Faith Church Worldwide.
Isaac Oyedepo, when asked about his role in his father’s church, reiterated his commitment to Living Faith Church. He stated, “It is a transition. Nothing really changed.” In October 2023, he addressed rumors about his status within the church, affirming his dedication to the service of the body of Christ.
Isaac clarified, “I am still in Winners, I’m still in Living Faith, I’m still a member and a steward because of the assignment that God has given to us. I think we just overcomplicate very simple things.” He further explained that while he is currently planted in a church in Abuja, he now has the freedom to pursue his divine calling alongside his pastoral duties.
The podcast episode provided a rare glimpse into the personal lives of two prominent families within Nigeria’s Christian community, highlighting their faith and dedication to their respective ministries.
