The legislators who support Rivers State Governor Simi Fubara have chosen Rt (Hon) Edison Ehie as the new Speaker while Justice Chibuzor Amadi, the Chief Judge, was dismissed by them.
It should be noted that earlier on Monday morning, Ehie’s position as Majority Leader was taken away by MPs who supported the former governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, in order to free up Governor Fubara for impeachment.
