At Adeniji Adele inward Oyebanji, Lagos Island, workers from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) today saved 4 victims of fatal accidents.
The rescue team’s leader, Lastma Oladunni Ademola ‘Zebra’ (Zone 1 Sura), revealed that the only collision involved a Toyota Sienna (MUS 706 EQ).
Lastma Ademola added that an initial inquiry had shown that the driver had been traveling at a high rate of speed when he or she became unable to control the car after realizing the brakes had failed.
He acknowledged that four victims—two men and two women—were saved by Lastma officials.
Zebra Ademola stated that “shortly after the tragedy, our Officials promptly responded and saved these 4 people with assistance from Police Officers from Adeniji Adele Police Command.
4 accident victims who had been rescued were taken right away to General Hospital for treatment.
However, before beginning any drive across the State, the driving public was urged by the general manager, Mr. Bolaji Oreagba, to exercise extreme caution and make sure their cars were in good condition.
