Kano State Commissioner for Project Monitoring and Evaluation Resigns

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has accepted the resignation of Engr. Muhammad Diggol, the Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation. The resignation, announced in a statement released on Sunday by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, takes immediate effect.

Engr. Diggol’s tenure in the state executive council began in 2023 when he was appointed Commissioner for Transportation at the inception of Governor Yusuf’s administration. He was later reassigned to the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation, where he served until his resignation.

In the statement, Governor Yusuf commended Engr. Diggol for his dedication, hard work, and exemplary service to Kano State. The Governor expressed gratitude for his unwavering commitment to the state’s developmental goals and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Engr. Diggol’s departure signals a transition in the leadership of the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation. However, no announcement has been made regarding his successor.

This development highlights ongoing changes within Governor Yusuf’s administration as the state continues its pursuit of strategic development objectives.
