Kaduna Train Attack: Relatives call for help as bandits release photos of abducted victims

Family members of victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack have continued to cry out for help as abductors yet again, released photos of the remaining victims.

In the photographs released on Tuesday, 62 victims were seen in four groups, including children, aged women and men.

Chairman of the group of Concerned Relatives of Abducted Persons, Dr Abdulfatai Jimoh, confirmed the photographs to newsmen, saying that all those displayed in the picture are the kidnap victims.

He then appealed to the government and other relevant authorities to show leadership and courage by ensuring that the victims are rescued unhurt.

An 83-year-old woman who is said to be suffering from diabetes was also among the victims, with her daughter.

This is the third time the terrorists would release evidence that their captives are alive.

Two weeks ago, the terrorists released a picture during the release of the Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali-Hassan, and later on, they released another video where the victims were appealing to the government to come to their rescue.

It was reported after the attack that 68 captives were with the bandits, including 41 women, 22 men and five children.

Gunmen had attacked the Abuja-Kaduna bound train on March 28 with Improvised Explosive Devices.

The also shot and killed eight people, leaving 26 others wounded and abducting the rest.
