It is a new Chapter in Mopamuro, Fanwo Felicitates Destiny on Chairmanship Victory

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has congratulated Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny on his election as the Executive Chairman of Mopamuro LGA, saying his victory has ushered in a chapter of progress and development in Mopamuro Local Government Area.

In a congratulatory statement made available to newsmen, Sunday, Fanwo said the brief stint of Hon. Destiny as Caretaker Chairman endeared him to the people, hence the massive support he received from the electorate.

“Your brief stint as Caretaker Chairman for six months ushered in an era of fresh air. You performed excellently in serving the grassroots people and the people have rewarded you with more responsibilities.

“You have shown a clear path of development in the areas of infrastructure, healthcare delivery, educational renaissance and most importantly, security of lives and property. You have shown capacity and that is the reason the people of Mopamuro have given you the key to drive our Local Government forward”, he said.

He urged Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny to continue to unify the people of Mopamuro and make the Local Government the epicenter of development in Kogi State.

In the same vein, the Information Commissioner has hailed the election of Hon. Tosin Olokun and Hon. Dare Joshua (Venza) as the elected Chairmen of Yagba West and Yagba East Local Government Areas respectively, saying their commitment to development has never been in doubt.

“Hon. Tosin Olokun of Yagba West and Hon. Dare Joshua of Yagba East are people that have been tested and trusted to move their Local Government Areas forward. I congratulate the people of Yagba West and Yagba East for making the best choices just like we did in Mopamuro”, he said.
