Former First Lady Patience Jonathan has unequivocally stated that she has no intention of returning to the Presidential Villa, citing the overwhelming stress associated with the position. During an event on Friday, Jonathan made it clear that even if offered, she would refuse a return to the Villa due to her age and desire for a more peaceful life.

In a video shared across blogs, Patience Jonathan remarked, “If you call me now for the Villa, I won’t go there. I won’t. Don’t you see how young I am? The stress is so much.”

She emphasized the importance of being grateful to God for being relieved from such stress, adding, “If God manages to bring you out of it, you should glorify God and thank Him. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. He has taken you there once, why do you want to go there again? Me, I won’t go.”

This declaration comes amid ongoing public interest and speculation regarding her potential return to a prominent political role. Patience Jonathan’s commitment to avoiding the burdens of high office underscores her focus on a peaceful and stress-free life.
