Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has appointed Osaigbovo Toni Iyoha, as his Chief of Staff.
A statement signed by the Secretary to State Government, Osarodion Ogie, said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Iyoha, who served as the immediate Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Edo South, was a member of the State House of Assembly and represented Oredo East Constituency, from 2015 to 2019, where he attained the position of Chief Whip.
He was born on July 6, 1973, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ambrose Alli University and a Masters of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Benin, UNIBEN.
He is presently concluding a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from UNIBEN and is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
The newly appointed Chief of Staff is a resourceful and result-oriented professional with eighteen years’ work experience in Nigeria’s public and private sectors and his experience spans Construction, Legislation, Public Service, and Industrial Engineering.
This appointment is the second since Governor Obaseki assumed office for his second term on November 12, 2020.
