Former Governor Theodore Orji Denounces Fraud Allegations as Malicious and False

Abuja, Nigeria – Former Governor of Abia State, Senator Theodore Orji, has vehemently condemned a recent publication that falsely implicated him in fraudulent activities linked to Effdee Nigeria Limited.

In a statement issued by his liaison office, Senator Orji described the report as a “deliberate smear campaign” aimed at tarnishing his hard-earned reputation. He dismissed the claims as “baseless” and “malicious,” accusing the authors of failing to conduct due diligence and proper fact-checking.

One of the key inaccuracies highlighted in the statement was the erroneous claim that Senator Orji served as Governor in 2016 and 2017, despite his tenure having ended in May 2015.

The statement further refuted any alleged connections between Senator Orji and Mr. Uchenna Erondu or Mr. Austin Akuma, clarifying that neither individual played any role in his administration.

Senator Orji has demanded a full retraction of the story across all platforms where it was published, including leading national newspapers and online outlets, calling for a swift correction of the damaging falsehoods.
