A Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded Olu Agunloye, the former minister of power and steel, to Kuje Correctional Service. Agunloye was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with fraud related to the Mambilla Power Project.

On Wednesday, he entered a not-guilty plea to the accusations read out in front of the Federal High Court in Abuja. The judge did, however, mandate that Agunloye remains under arrest until bail is approved.
