The Ekiti State Commissioner for the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Digital Economy, Hon. Seun Fakuade, announced today that the Ministry is embarking on a significant digital transformation journey set to commence on February 1, 2024.
Aligned with the visionary directive of Mr. Governor to establish e-governance, the Ministry aims to position itself as a frontrunner in the realm of digital operations. Hon. Fakuade, during a recent management meeting, emphasized the crucial need for digital training among Civil Servants. A comprehensive training program is slated to kick off this month, underlining the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a digitally adept workforce.
Hon. Fakuade urged the Ministry’s staff to intensify their efforts, striving for noteworthy achievements in the upcoming year. Recognizing outstanding performances, the Commissioner emphasized, would be duly acknowledged and rewarded as part of the Ministry’s commitment to excellence.
In a bid to prioritize the well-being of its personnel, the Commissioner advocated for regular health check-ups, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good health during this transformative period.
On a more solemn note, Hon. Fakuade extended heartfelt condolences to the Governor and the people of the State on the recent loss of two Kings and the distressing incident involving kidnapped children. The Commissioner reassured continued efforts to explore innovative solutions to address security challenges within Ekiti State.
