The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared four individuals wanted in connection with an alleged multi-million naira fraud involving Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), an online trading platform.

In a public notice issued on Friday via its official social media platforms, the anti-graft agency named the suspects as Adefowora Olanipekun, Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko, and Seyi Oloyede.

“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear above are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the notice stated.

The declaration comes on the heels of a ruling by the Federal High Court in Abuja, which granted the EFCC an injunction to arrest and detain six promoters of the controversial platform.

The EFCC has urged members of the public with useful information on the whereabouts of the wanted individuals to contact the nearest commission office or law enforcement agency.
