Designer Of Nigerian Flag Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi Is Dead

Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, the designer of the Nigerian flag, has died. He was 84 years old. His first son, Akinkunmi Akinwumi Samuel, confirmed his father’s death on his Facebook page.

“Life is indeed transient; I can say boldly that you live a life with a landmark,” he wrote. “My father, continue to rest! Pa Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi (O.F.R) has passed away.”
