OWERRI — Popular businessman and nightlife promoter, Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed that he played a supportive role in Burna Boy’s early career struggles before the singer rose to global fame.
Speaking during a recent live session with TikToker Peller at his Owerri mansion, the socialite disclosed that the Grammy-winning star once lived with him for days at a time while hustling to make a breakthrough in the music industry.
“I have brought everybody [celebrities] here. CP no small, I’m not joking. Burna Boy used to squat in my place for days. Giant of Africa no be person go bring am up?” Chief Priest said, boasting of his long-standing influence in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
He added with flair: “Money na water! I have been doing this business for a long time.”
