Breaking: Tragic Building Collapse in Lagos, Child Feared Dead, Seven Rescued

A building collapse on Cameroon Street in the Mushin area of Lagos has left a child feared dead and seven others rescued from the rubble on Wednesday.

The incident occurred following heavy downpours that hit many parts of Lagos. Local residents sprang into action to rescue the trapped individuals before emergency services arrived.

A resident, who witnessed the collapse, stated, “The building came down after the heavy rain, and we managed to pull out seven people from the debris. Unfortunately, a child is feared dead.”

As of the time of reporting, the Lagos rescue team had yet to respond to emergency calls.
