Former Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has criticized President Bola Tinubu over what he described as the failure of his administration’s security framework.

Reacting to the recent killings in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, Atiku expressed deep concern over the growing insecurity across the country, calling it a “nationwide endemic phenomenon.”

In a statement shared via his official X handle, the former Vice President lamented the frequency of deadly attacks, many of which he said no longer make the headlines.

“The failure of Bola Tinubu’s security architecture has now become an endemic nationwide phenomenon with repeated killings, more of which do not even make the headlines,” Atiku stated.

He extended his condolences to the bereaved communities and families in Plateau State, urging the federal government to take decisive action.

“I again offer my condolences to the bereaved communities of Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State and the affected families,” he added.

Atiku also reiterated his call on the Tinubu administration to urgently reconfigure the nation’s security architecture to better safeguard the lives and property of Nigerians.
