As part of renewed efforts to reclaim political dominance in Imo State and the South East, the State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), John Iwuala, has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to progressive values, youth empowerment, and unity.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by the APGA Students Movement (ASM) at the party’s state secretariat in Owerri, Iwuala described APGA as Nigeria’s most ideology-driven political platform, grounded in humanism and egalitarianism.

“APGA remains the only political party in Nigeria with a human face,” he said. “We were founded on principles that promote a society free from hunger, racism, anguish, and autocracy. These ideals are still at the core of our vision.”

Iwuala expressed confidence that APGA would bounce back stronger and reclaim leadership across the South East in upcoming elections, citing the party’s deep roots and widespread acceptance among the Igbo people.

“APGA is not just a party—it runs in the blood of every true Igbo person. We are peaceful, united, and free from the leadership crises that plague other political parties,” he stated.

He emphasized the party’s youth-friendly disposition, revealing plans to launch skills acquisition programs aimed at training and empowering young Nigerians.

“Our doors are open to the youth. We believe in rejuvenation and are putting plans in place to equip our young people with relevant skills to thrive,” he added.

The APGA chairman urged members of the student wing to remain steadfast in their academic pursuits while championing the ideals of the party in their respective institutions.

“Study hard, stay courageous, and continue to spread the message of APGA. With your energy and commitment, we will achieve even greater victories,” he concluded.
