During the event, which drew large crowds in Awka, a group of excited youths broke into chants in Pidgin English, referring to the President as “our papa” — a heartfelt nod to his leadership as father of the nation.
“Na our papa be dis o, we no get another papa,” the youths sang as Tinubu wrapped up his address. The President, clearly touched by the moment, responded with a warm smile: “Thank you, God bless you.”
President Tinubu commissioned several key projects including:
The Emeka Anyaoku Centre at Nnamdi Azikiwe University

Solution Fun City
The 8-lane Aroma–Government House Boulevard
Commending Governor Soludo, Tinubu described him as a “friend” and a “visionary leader,” applauding his administration’s commitment to infrastructure, inclusive governance, and sustainable development.
“Soludo is here providing solutions — in infrastructure and in carrying people along. This is what democracy is all about: prosperity, service, and responsive governance,” the President said.
He added, “You are a good thinker, a solution provider. Anambra is building its tomorrow today, using technology and innovation to drive governance. We must continue to encourage good leadership.”
The visit marks a significant moment in the federal-state collaboration aimed at promoting growth and development across the Southeast region.
