Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been officially inaugurated as the 7th Governor of Ondo State in a grand ceremony held at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure.
The swearing-in took place at exactly 12:59 pm, with Aiyedatiwa taking the oath of office shortly after his deputy, Olayide Adelami.
The event was graced by prominent political figures, including the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Also in attendance were former Osun State Governors Chief Bisi Akande and Chief Olusegun Osoba, former Ondo State Governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, and the Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande.
The governor’s immediate family, alongside present and past members of the National Assembly, the Ondo State APC Chairman Engineer Ade Adetimehin, and former members of the state executive council, were also present to witness the historic event.
