More than 500 exhibitors are anticipated to showcase over 10,000 products to nearly 100,000 attendees at the upcoming 19th Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF), organised by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).

Second Deputy President, ACCI,

Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, who disclosed this at a press briefing on Thursday in Abuja, said the event will run from September 20 to October 1, 2024, at the Abuja Trade and Convention Center. .

Hong said the AITF is recognised as one of Nigeria’s largest trade platforms, offering both domestic and international exhibitors valuable opportunities to present their products, explore new markets, and forge essential business connections.

He said that this year’s theme, “Mobility Options for Transportation, Trade Financing, and Taxation,” focuses on enhancing logistics, reducing operational costs, and navigating the complexities of trade and finance.

“AITF 2024 aims to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, bringing together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to chart a path toward a more efficient, sustainable, and innovative future for mobility.

“The fair will also address the need for sustainable financing and taxation strategies, particularly in light of challenges such as limited access to credit and the complexities of multiple taxation. These discussions will be crucial as we transition towards a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable society,” he stated.
