The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has called a halt to its statewide protest. The resident doctors had previously gone on strike to press the federal government on their demands.
In a message provided to Gatekeepers News on Friday, NARD president Emeka Orji announced the strike’s postponement.
The message stated, “We just called off the strike. Work will resume at 8 a.m. tomorrow. In two weeks, we will review our progress.”
