Controversial street singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has revealed that he is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Aro, Abeokuta. This statement follows his declaration as a wanted individual by the Ogun State Police, who are investigating his involvement in an attack on officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
The incident occurred at Odogwu Bar during an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, where state officials were reportedly attacked. Despite several public apologies issued by Portable, the Ogun Police Command has obtained a court order declaring him wanted and is calling on the public for assistance in his arrest.
In a series of videos shared on his Instagram, Portable maintained his innocence, stating that he is under medical care and has a valid treatment record at Aro Psychiatric Hospital. He emphasized that he is not involved in criminal activities and attributed his current troubles to spiritual attacks after purchasing land and properties from individuals.
The police have warned that anyone aiding or harboring Portable could face legal consequences.
