Global streaming giant Netflix has denied rumors of its exit from Nigeria, reaffirming its dedication to the country despite economic challenges and regulatory pressures.

In a statement sent to TechCabal, the company dismissed speculations about its departure, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to the Nigerian market.

“We are not exiting Nigeria,” Netflix stated. “We will continue to invest in the country’s stories to delight our members.”

The clarification comes amid widespread reports suggesting that the platform might be scaling back its operations in Nigeria due to economic and regulatory hurdles. However, Netflix reassured its audience of its steadfast presence in the region and its continued efforts to highlight Nigerian narratives on a global stage.
