The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa has congratulated Mr Rotimi Oyedepo on his conferment as the Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Bawa who was represented by the Director of Operations, Abdulkareem Tukur in the thanksgiving reception showered ecomium on the celebrant as being a diligent and dedicated worker of the Commission.
Not less than 3 Federal High Court judges which includes Justice Daniel Osiagor, Piter Lifu, Akintayo Aluko, Garba Ringim both of Lagos division and Mahmud Ahmad Gama of Sokoto division.
Also noticeable in attendance was Lagos State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission boss Justice Mojisola Olatoregun (rtd), Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of Special Offences Court (rtd).
Among those who graced the occasion were notable Nigerian citizens within and outside the judiciary which includes Attorney-General of Lagos State Mr Moyosore Onigbanjo SAN and his Ogun State counterpart, Mr Tayo Oyetibo SAN, Femi Falana SAN, Bashir Jamoh, Director-General of NIMASA, Founder of Law Radio, Mr Tayo Oyetibo SAN, founder of MITV Alhaji Muri Okunola, immediate past chairman of AMCON who is also former national legal adviser to the ruling All Progressives Congress Dr Muiz Adeyemi Banire SAN.
In the chain of Senior Advocate of Nigeria are professor Felix Odita (QC), Emeka Etiaba, Former Ekiti state Attorney-General Gboyega Oyewole, Adeyinka Olumide – Fusika, Chief Wale Taiwo, Dr Dapo Olanipekun, Olabode Olanipekun, Matthew Bulkar, Seeni Adio, Chukwuka Ekuazom, Ade Oyebanji to mention but a few.
The turnout is not surprising going by the resilience and dogged quality of the celebrant.
In cutting the cake conducted by Emaka Etiaba SAN who requested that Mr Tayo Oyetibo SAN to moderate the cutting.
Oyedepo with his family, wife and four children, two male and two female together held the knife and cuted the cake at the spelling of “Justice”.
