President Bola Tinubu has promised the manufacturing and service sectors that additional changes will be implemented to boost productivity and draw in investment. He also stated that the current economic “revolution” will be intentionally guided to attract and benefit the nation’s teeming youth population.

When he met with a group from one of the telecom companies, MTN, in the state house, the president offered the promise.

President Tinubu stated that his administration has to transform the economy so that young people can benefit from the nation’s wealth.

President Tinubu agreed that the only way to stop the expanding rural-urban migration is to increase investments in digital technology, which will directly enhance healthcare and educational opportunities for the underprivileged.

The corporation is shifting away from corporate social responsibility to being more incisive and curious with technology, and the president expressed delight that this is helping the country flourish.

By working with his government, he thinks the corporation can significantly boost the economy.

Jonas Mcebisi, the chairman of the MTN Group, who was in charge of the delegation, stated that the company has a plan to invest $3.5 billion in the economy over the following five years, with a larger vision of becoming a pan-African company by shifting investments away from the Middle East and concentrating more on Africa, particularly Nigeria, where it receives the highest return on investment.

In a statement, the president’s special duties, communications, and strategy adviser, Dele Alake Jonas, congratulated the president on the increase in interest in the nation within a short period of his taking office and pledged to help mobilize additional investors with about $1.5 trillion to look towards Nigeria, where reforms had been designed to favor business and promote inclusive development.
