The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has been removed from the Treasury Single Account (TSA) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The news was made today (Friday) during a press conference in Abuja by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. According to information, the new order FCT Administration would be required to use the territory’s Internally Generated Revenue IGR for the development of the nation’s capital.
During the press conference, Wike affirmed this, saying that the President has approved the formation of the FCT Civil Service Commission to allow for staff career advancement.
He also announced that the President had approved the formation of the Woman Affairs Secretariat, which will be operational next week.
